Creative Wednesday: Libby

Art by Libby

Hello! I'm back with Creative Wednesday, and this week I have some artwork by my good friend Libby. (Psst -- Check out her blog here.)

As you can see, she's an amazing artist. I love seeing what she draws. What I have here are a three drawings Libby sent me, just a sampling of what she's done. Click the jump to view the other two.

I really hope you enjoy looking at them!

And remember, if you want to be featured on a future Creative Wednesday, you can write me a comment below, or shoot me an e-mail at thechumbles@gmail.com

Double Post

Okay, yeah, I posted, what like three hours ago? No matter. I just thought of something I was meaning to put on my blog at some point in time (and I totally forgot until now), but if you have some free time at some point (as little as five minutes is okay), you should check out some more links. They go to two of my friend's deviantArt pages (art website, in case you didn't know). And since they're both really freaking great artists you should look at them. So do it. DO IT NOW!
SoxPaws - Awesome Sonic the Hedgehog art and some really great manga/anime in there too. (by the way, all the pics she does of Silver are cute! *fangirl scream* No really, I had them on my iPod wallpaper for like five months. They're that amazing.)
cavemankong - Honestly, he has everything and a pegasus up here. Some Kingdom Hearts stuff, Halo, Assassin's Creed, etc. (And that Zelda one is cool. So do yourself a favor and look at it!)

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go hide in a closet for the rest of the day...

Drawings Glog

Well, I was meaning to get to this at some point. This afternoon, I made a glog with my drawings and other "artwork" on it. You can click the link below if you want to see it.

I'm Still Alive

No, I didn't die, I just haven't had anything to really post about. So since I am kinda bored (and you must be VERY bored if you're reading my blog) I'm just gonna write at random, post a few pics, etc. Enjoy yourself.

In English class, we had to do an assignment that involved designing something. Fun. So one kid asked, "Can we use GIMP?" And of course I was thinking, "What's GIMP?" So eventually, I figured out that its a "image manipulator" and I've been using it to make some of my drawings look a little more presentable. Like this: Crummy Drawing + GIMP = Somewhat Better Drawing.
Yeah, so you can enjoy those after the break.

You want more? Well, okay then. I've also been writing a little bit lately. Random fictional stuff, y'know? Cuz I don't have much else to do, except for living a second life in Wind Waker. But oh well, it is turning out pretty well, If I do say so myself. If you want, you can read some in this google doc I just made up.

Well, there isn't much else to write about, except that last weekend was AWESOME! I had a sleepover with my BFF at her house, and we stayed up until... uh... maybe it was 2am? I dunno. But I had a blast with her! Thanks Libby!

So that's all now, I hope you enjoyed this random stuff.

Computer is still broken :(

Well I haven't blogged in a while because my stupid laptop is still broken. Nowi have to send it back to get fixed AGAIN! Oh well, thats beside the point.

I have been drawing a bit recently, and its actually not turning out that bad. I'd put a few pics here but like i said, im blogging from my ipod. They are (mostly) from Pokèmon. Go figure. I will add pix tomorrow

Magic Trick

For my next trick, I will make a scavenger hunt, Pokemon, Legos, Skillet, and Zelda all fit in the same post.

Well, my party was a blast! We had a scavenger hunt, and My team didn't win, but it was fun anyway. Click here to see pics from that. We had to take pics of the team doing certain things, like standing next to a McDonalds Drive-Thru menu. It was an interesting experience, and no one got arrested. So thats good...sorta...

On Bulbapedia, someone (Danielle Detering) made an article about how Pokemon and math go together. Read it here.

I've been drawing with chalk lately, and I drew Link, a Shellder, and a Mareep. You can see them if you click "More Nonsense"

Well, that's about it. Maybe I'll post more tomorrow...maybe...

TRON

Yesterday me my brother and my mom went to go see that new TRON movie in 3D. I smuggled my 3D glasses out of it :D. Anyway, it was a good movie. I can't remember much of it, because its just fast all the way to the end. The epicness never stops. If I had a dollar for every time my mom said wow after the movie, I would be $20 richer. But if you see it, you have to see it in 3D. There is no other way. Well, there is, but its not as epic.

I've been tracing (again!) and drawing and I made a really good one, but you'll have to wait until I have time to take it out of its frame and scan it.
